1. Introduction These Terms of Service govern the provision of process agent services (the "Services") by us, World Interactive LLC trading as UK Process Agent ("we", "our", or "us"), to you, the client ("you" or "your"). By using our Services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Appointment 2.1. When you engage us as your process agent, we will act as your appointed agent to receive service of legal documents on your behalf in the UK.
2.2. The appointment begins when we confirm acceptance of your instructions and payment has been received in full. Confirmation will be provided by email along with your Appointment Certificate.
2.3. The standard appointment term is 12 months unless otherwise agreed in writing. The service renews annually unless cancelled.
3. Services 3.1. We will accept service of documents and notify you promptly using the contact details you provide.
3.2. We will forward all documents received to you electronically (and by post if requested) as soon as reasonably practicable.
3.3. We are not responsible for verifying the content of served documents or for any consequences of legal proceedings arising from them.
4. Your Responsibilities 4.1. You must ensure all information provided is accurate, up-to-date, and complete.
4.2. You are responsible for informing us of any changes to your contact details.
4.3. You must pay all fees promptly. Non-payment may result in suspension or termination of services.
4.4. If legal documents are received requiring immediate attention, it is your responsibility to act upon them. We are not liable for any failure by you to respond to served documents.
5. Fees and Payment 5.1. Fees are stated on our website and are payable in advance. Prices may be updated from time to time.
5.2. We reserve the right to charge reasonable administration fees for amendments, additional appointors, or additional agreements.
5.3. VAT will be charged where applicable.
6. Termination 6.1. You may cancel your service at any time. No refunds are issued for cancellations after payment is made.
6.2. We reserve the right to terminate the service with immediate effect if you breach these terms or fail to pay fees when due.
6.3. Upon termination, we will cease to act as your process agent and will no longer accept service of documents on your behalf.
